the manager of bp called me today and gave me my schedule for next week. it looks something like this:
monday- 3-11
tuesday- 3-11
wednesday (first day of the sale)- 11-9
thursday- 11-8
friday- 11-8
saturday- 1-close
monday- 11-8
i had a little bit of a panic attack because i haven't worked in four months and now i'm being thrust into the half yearly sale. and to top it all off, i quite possibly have mono. i am going to the doctor tomorrow to verify.
on a lighter note, i got my passport pictures done at costco today.
ta-da! i love that i look like i'm 15. and i love that my mom's friends who don't know me well ask me what grade i'm in, assuming i'm a junior in high school. i politely correct them and tell them that i will be a junior in college next year. don't let my mere 5ft3inches and baby face fool you.
i am a legitimate adult.
on an even lighter note, my mom kept the boys home from school yesterday and we went to disneyland. she complains that when i'm home she doesn't get anything done because i always want to play, but she totally planned this little rendezvous and i refuse to take the blame. it was perfect disneyland weather and the lines were short and the corndogs were delish as usual. the year of 2008 was the worst year of my life, except for one huge redeeming factor: my disneyland pass. thank you to my father for purchasing me the happiest piece of plastic which has resulted in numerous blissful disney days.
