1. went to three consecutive sacrament meetings. yes, three. at 9am, 11am and 1pm. needless to say, i am full of spirituality. congrats to those three san clemente missionaries taking off to serve the Lord all over the world. you will be great.
2. found two love notes from long ago hidden in my car. like the champion i am, i immediately threw them away and didn't have any desire to reminisce and read the words of love long lost. i think ridding of those two notes marks the last physical evidence of that phase of my life and i can't even tell you how refreshing and exhilarating it was to throw it in the trash.
3. wore this fabulous dress my dad picked out and bought for me from anthro. what great taste he has.
4. enjoyed a fat piece of ice cream cake from baskin robbins. purpose for celebrating? dane is getting baptized on saturday. aenon is coming down to visit on wednesday. we all love each other a whole lot. life is pretty wonderful.
5. took a three hour nap while watching dexter. mmm. nothing like sunday naps.
6. lounged in my juicy nightie which i purchased on friday. i'm usually not much of a juicy girl but lately i've had a change of heart. favorite juicy purchase to date: juicy bikini, adorned with gold charms and blue paisley. cutest little thing ever, quite possibly.
7. seriously contemplated going to law school. no, this isn't a joke. i was thinking about my God-given talents and about how i really am blessed with so much spice and love for the written word and a gift for manipulating people (in a good way) and it just seems that being an attorney is my second calling in life, after being a mother. i don't know if i will really choose to go down that path because i know how much work it is but it's an option. one of many options.
8. decided i need a disney-day this week and i plan to bring my david along.
9. focused on the words to the hymn "as now we take the sacrament." it really is a beautiful song and the words give me chills every time.
10. fell in love with my life all over again.
