yesterday was november 1st, which is a very very special day to me.
four years ago exactly, on november 1st 2006, i kissed a boy in the goldenspoon parking lot for the first time.
i had no idea at the time, but this boy ended up changing my life in countless ways.
he was my high school sweet heart, my missionary, my shoulder to cry on, my rock, and my best friend.
a lot has happened in these past four years.
we've grown up a lot, we've been through trials, we've become more independent and more dependent on each other at the same time.
we've learned how to love, and how to let go. we've learned how to be in a real relationship that requires give and take.
these four years haven't been easy, they've been really hard.
but despite everything that has happened to us, i wouldn't take back any of it.
a lot has changed in these four years, and a lot has remained the same.
there's still only one person i want to go through life with.
and it's you, mr. burton.
thank you for showing me what love is.
