my absolute dream job is to host diners, drive-ins and dives. i want guy fieri's job more than anything. david's mom and i decided to find some of the places he highlighted in the dallas area, which lead us to twisted root burger, just a couple blocks from the grassy knoll where jfk was assassinated.
i got the chipotle-guacamole burger. it was really, really good.
my man got his regular bacon burger with onion straws. i like a creature of habit.
instead of calling out numbers or names when an order is ready, each customer is given a funny little name - like shrek or the little mermaid or jack the ripper. we were wonder woman. the employees were super friendly and funny and the food was so good and i still want guy fieri's job.
in other news, we decided to bake the pioneer woman's cinnamon rolls at about 9pm tonight so we headed to walmart in mike's race car.
i wore this.
i vow to never make fun of the people of walmart again and i'll let you know how the pioneer woman recipe turns out.
