this morning i got into an audi a4 and was instantly turned on not necessarily because of who was driving it, but because it was a beautiful brand new audi a4. call me shallow if you want, i don't care. i'm just being honest here.
today i cried on the couch like a mess while watching nienie on oprah. i love her husband. i love the way he loves her. i love the way he looks at her, like she is the most beautiful woman in the planet. i love the way he saved her life. i love the way she describes her infinite love for him. i can't wait to find myself a man like hers. i know he's out there and he's being a little bit stubborn in being found, but i'll get him someday. you'll see.
then i decided to make chocolate chip cookies. i am always on the hunt for the best chocolate chip cookie recipe. the one i used today was pretty awesome, not going to lie. make it. try it. give me your feedback. i love my cookies thick and dense and chewy.

1 ¾ c. butter, cold and sliced into pieces
1 ½ c. sugar
2 ¼ c. brown sugar packed
4 eggs
2 tbsp. vanilla
6 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 btsp. baking powder
1 ½ tsp. salt
2 bags milk chocolate chips (24 oz.)

cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla, mix well. mix dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture. add chocolate chips. chill for 1 hour in fridge. scoop with small ice cream scoop. bake at 325 for 8-9 minutes. do not over bake.

then i was overcome with an intense craving for fizzy lemonade. not just ordinary lemonade, but fizzy. like a san pellegrino. i sometimes get cravings like a pregnant woman and i absolutely must get it. so mariss and i went on a little outing to seven eleven and then to smiths to find the perfect fizzy lemonade and oh you bet i found it and with only 2 calories in the whole bottle! sometimes i just luck out. i bought four bottles. go big or go home.
i don't know why, but our apartment always smells. and not a pleasant smell, but like a rotting disgusting smell. and i've lived in three college apartments in my lifetime and i've never had a smelly one. and i was starting to think that there was some stench in our walls or something but then i realized our apartment probably is smelly because approximately eight people live here. and when eight people live in a belmont apartment, the trash is always overflowing and the sink is always full of dishes but it's okay because we just light candles and wait for someone else to clean the kitchen.
today my roommate's boyfriend and i sat at the kitchen table and discussed what is sexy to me.
and i think men doing the dishes is sexy.
and i think men that take the trash out without being asked are sexy.
and i think men who wear nice jeans are sexy.
and i think men who call their grandmas just to say hello are sexy.
and i think men with beaten-up and written on scriptures are sexy.
and i think men who make decisions and take initiative are sexy.
but that's just me.
