humanity.

today i sat in the emergency waiting room and thought of all the people that had sat there before. despite differences in beliefs, appearances, histories, or personalities, we were in that room for the same reason: our loved ones behind the forbidden emergency door.

sometimes i think about how human genetics are remarkably similar to any other form of life...including mice and bananas. i'm not really educated on the allele differences or the biological structure, but i think that humans reign supreme because they have the divine ability to love.
