india palace.

anyone who knows david understands his passion for people. he loves people of all kinds. regardless of age, gender, race, color, or whatever, he wants to be friends with them and he is so so good at making people fall in love with him. lately, he made friends with an indian man and his brother, who he met at the gym. i am sure they became friends because these people are undoubtedly the ONLY people in all of utah who lift more than david at the gym...they are powerlifters. anyway, david became close with them and they invited david to dinner tonight. i was able to go along with him and it was such an amazing experience. they own a small restaurant off of center street called india palace, which is closed on sundays, but they invited us to dinner there and made an incredible indian meal for us. they were so proud of their culture and their country and were so eager to please. we ended up staying there for two and a half hours. it is refreshing to be in company of good people who are genuinely good to the core; people with good intentions and true charity. they aren't lds, but they practice so many gospel principles in their lives and i am so impressed.
i love surrounding myself with good people. i am so blessed to have these opportunities in my life where i can grow and learn from other people. i know i say it a lot, but i really am the luckiest girl in the world.
