mondays get a bad rap. i know that mondays signify the end of the weekend and that is usually a bummer, but in a more positive light, my monday was lovely.
1. the weather was a clear and warm and cloudless 72 degrees and i wore shorts. thank goodness i've been tanning regularly because my little legs were prepared to be exposed to the world.
2. got a letter from my most favorite peruvian boy. bless his soul. my heart misses him and i don't think anyone on this planet can make me laugh like he does. his letters make me laugh out loud and in fourteen short months, he will be back. can't wait to listen to cartel chroma and old school tbs and cobra starship and spill canvas and to live our btg lifestyle together. there are some people in my life who have forever changed me. he is one of them and has been from the start. from 7th grade, mr. lynde's accelerated history class, to brother miner's sunday school class, to jubilation activities, to yearbook camp and chemistry class, to our first year at byu together, his impact on my life is truly irreplaceable.
3. gossip girl + 24 + the hills = best night of television. i love chuck bass and i love jack bauer and i hate spencer and heidi.
4. i started the process of packing up all of my junk in preparation for my move home on thursday. bittersweet experience. can i just say, the power of prayer is real. in december, before i moved up here, i prayed hard that i would be able to change my life and find people to help me along that journey and to make good friends and to live with great people and to have a good provo experience, and everything turned out better than i could've ever imagined. Heavenly Father loves us. He knows what we need and what we want and He delivers.
