we took a girls trip to st. george this weekend...
and got really acquainted with the self timer on my digital rebel.
we stayed in this beautiful house right on the boulevard...
and had a lovely little spa sesh the first night.
we enjoyed apple tv and access to over 2,000 movies...
we decided on a-team, how to lose a guy in 10 days, and grown ups.
we lived off of these, which are noncarbonated-20 calorie cans of deliciousness.
and had shirley's cinnamon rolls in the morning. breakfast of champions.
our humble abode. (ps. richard tagged along for our girls weekend)
we went to the st. george marathon on saturday morning...
 to support brady's momma jill.
 go momma go!

and we ran into a couple friends along the way. sidenote: andrew baker, the handsome man with his arm around me, ran the marathon in 2 hours and 48 minutes. you do the math, but that's pretty incredible.
we ate a lot of food and had a lot of laughs and took a lot of pictures...
 including these gems...
 sexy.
the next morning we went on a little helicopter adventure...
which was a little bit scary but absolutely incredible.
helicopter rides, just part of the fabulous lives of emma and whitney.

i never appreciated the red rock and landscape of st. george until i saw it from above. truly a beautiful place.

we said our goodbyes on sunday afternoon...
and i am already missing the warmth and carelessness and laughter that weekend-getaways always offer.
st. george, you were good to us.
until next time.
