beautiful landscape driving out of provo

my mom and shane and i in bed... don't worry, shane slept on a cot, not in bed with us.
the entry
knight standing right next to the bed...creepy!
the jacuzzi in the middle of the room

last weekend my mom and shane and i drove up to utah and idaho. we stopped in lehi to visit my grandma and my sister for a few days before going to visit rexburg. unfortunately, we didn't know it was "mothers week" at byu-i and all the hotel rooms were booked...except for the themed honeymoon suite! shane and i were so excited about the themes, we thought it was hilarious, but my mom was not as enthusiastic. we assumed that the rooms would have mild themes, maybe a few pieces of flair, but as we soon found out, rexburg idaho goes all out with their themed honeymoon suites! as you can see from the pictures, we chose the "chivalrous knight" room, but it was only chosen because the "mayan" room had one shower in the middle of the room...not the most ideal circumstances for our group. if only we had gotten there a few hours earlier, we might have gotten the "oriental suite" or the "green lagoon" underwater suite, but we were perfectly content with our dungeon that smelled of cheap men's cologne. my mom was slightly bitter that she paid $250 for it, but in my opinion, that room and the funny story was well worth it.
