hi there.
i would love to blog about how fun my day was, but it really wasn't all that great.
i woke up and showered (rare occurrence) and went to class and took notes and i really do like british literature quite a lot. my professor is such a sweet lady. bless her heart. she referred to king henry the first as a jackass today.
after class i scurried down to the kitchen and made my most favorite thing in the world, nutella sandwich.
now don't worry, i only make this when i sleep through breakfast, and i only make a half, so i won't be coming home looking like a whale i promise. but if you haven't had a nutella sandwich on white bread, i greatly encourage you to do it pronto. and don't be stingy with that chocolately goodness.
after my sandwich breakfast, i had more class, and then we got ready and went to a little pub for lunch and then to h&m, which is about 200x cuter here than in the us. don't worry mom, i didn't break the bank, i just purchased a scarf for 3 pounds and a set of two gloves for 2 pounds. contrary to popular belief, i really am not trying to bankrupt our family, i promise.
after my stingy shopping excursion which left me a little bit heavy hearted because i don't have one million dollars to buy everything in london, i came back and had more class!
and then, after class, we had dinner, and after dinner we all got cozy in our beds and read for class.
i just love class.
almost as much as i love the fact that i have to read the novel oliver twist in whole by next monday while i am in london, discovering all things beautiful.
anyway, i read oliver, then oliver put me right to sleep after 25 minutes, and then i woke up and everyone wanted to go to this concert in a pub, so off we went.
and then we got lost.
and then we were cold.
and then i realized i needed to come back to oliver.
so turned around and came back and now i am in bed, with oliver of course, about to let him rock me into a sweet slumber.

on a more positive note, tomorrow we are seeing the london tower, the marketplace where shakespeare frequented, and we are seeing chicago!
and on an even more positive note, i really am quite fond of all the girls here. beautiful souls, it's true.

i see a pattern...same faces (pretty cute ones too, i might add). love that you have found some quality souls to hang with. every mother's wish-that her children have good people surrounding them. and, i actually dont feel the least bit sorry for you...after all you are in LONDON!!
