today i woke up at 6am, had a little breakfast, packed a little lunch, got ready and was ready to go at 720am. after an hour and a half bus ride, we arrived at stonehenge and it was freeeeezing cold outside. snowing. freezing. miserable almost. but it was really cool and we took cute pictures so we endured. my fingers were so cold they felt like they might break off. not a fun feeling, at all.

after stonehenge we went to salisbury, where we got to see this cathedral and see one of the four remaining copies of the magna carta.

and then we went to bath, where the romans constructed public bathing facilities/places of worship from the natural hot springs.

we then walked around a bit, scored some free samples of fudge, had ben's cookies for dinner (so healthy, i know) and then got back on the bus at 5pm and didn't get back to the center until 730pm. such a long long day. i am exhausted. as usual.
i am slowly but surely learning to appreciate and listen to the little things in life. the tender mercies, the small moments of peace, the seemingly meaningless things that go my way, the nice gestures of strangers, the answers to prayers through people. i am so thankful for this opportunity that i have to be in london, where i feel closer to myself that i've ever been before. it may sound silly, but facing the unknown alone has been a huge eye opening experience for me, even though it's only been 14 days, and i am so thankful that i am here.
i really do love london.
